Lady Pamela and the Rolls Royce

It started with "Hey Mum come outside and see what I've got"!
Oh I thought to myself, they have bought a new car.
My eyes nearly popped out of my head.
Blimey!, it's a Rolls Royce!
We all had to have a seat behind the wheel......except for me
I did it in style!
The Truth?

It was Abi's boss's car and he needed it to go out for a drive....hee. hee. they landed at our place.
It was actually offered to them as a swap for Abi's tourist bus, but the upkeep wasn't worth it.....DARN!

PARIS......part 3

The River Seine

Lost the sign for Champs-Elyse'es , maybe another post!
L'Arc de Triomphe

What  an imposing landmark. It was built by Napoleon as a tribut to those who fort for France.
Twelve major avenues radiate from this Monument. 50 metres High, underneath resides the
underground station.

If you fancy a walk to the top....284 steps. Wow, a panoramic view of the city.
Like a piece of cheese 'squashed between bread! Obviously waiting for some T.L.C
Want to buy ? dont even think about it. Paris real estate for the VERY wealthy!

THERE SHE IS.....OH TAKE MY BREATH AWAY!

PIRATES OF PENZANCE

Sorry no pictures.......Oh how I wish!
ESTHER SAXON.....a star, she sounds like Sarah Brightman, well a younger version.
Asked by my Sister Carol and Bro.in law. Bill :..."Has she had voice training?"
I should have said yes....."in the womb". but for a girl who hasn't , she blew us away. Even Peter her
father said he was amazed. If she persues a musical career, you will hear from her.
Like her sister Anna who played MARIA in the sound of music, these girls have a natural flair and a great
musical talent inhereted from both Parents. A brilliant production. The girls chorus is soooo delightful, strong voices and they looked sooo pretty. Costumes, set, the orchestra made for a wonderful show. Bro.Parry I believe is the music teacher at the college.[ so two LDS stars!!] GO SEE IT!
Swan Christian College .......oh by the way, there is no such thing as a bad seat in the fantastic auditorium.
It's beautiful, even got a lift if you can't make the back row.....which I would recommend.

Annual Op Shop for Breast Cancer!

Every year our group the "Heavenly Hills Hatters hold an op-shop to raise funds for Breast Cancer.
Glenys [ Queen Magenta} holds it under her patio and garage. People just donate their clothes than take home a new wardrobe for $10 a bag sometimes two.
The cup of tea and scones bring in another $2. Last count it was over $900 and still counting [ we have some beautiful jewellery donated that we are currently selling]

Glenys [ sitting ] is recovering from knee surgery. She's a trooper, nothing seems to keep her down.
Cynthia is a member of our R.H.Chorus,
