But sadly on diferent flights. We decided we would look out for each other at Changi Airport.....what a laugh!
Changi is a 'city' of it's own. Bob and I found each other racing along moving escalotors to our lounge area about 1 klm away on moving esculators........lovely shops but didn't have time to stop.
SINGAPORE TO MUNICH.......left 11.30pm Perth time. Allocated to the 3 seats on the side in Economy
LADY PAMELA, graciously took the middle seat........BIG MISTAKE!
1am Cabin really hot. baby crying....poor little thing " good onya love, I know how your feeling"
fifteen minutes later the cabin is cooling, must have been baby crying that elerted someone to the crisis.
1,30am flying over Sri Lanka.......seat belts ,turbulent weather
3am another seat belt crisis.....this time near Afgamistan....must be shooting at us....really rough.
Sleeping Beauty on my left [ sknny, blond, Scottish [ she's not all bad] British bulldog on right, sleeping through all this. I feel like a tin soldier, unable to move........BABY CRYING AGAIN, The walking dead are cruising the isle and secretly spewing spitballs into business class who lay stretched out on their comfy bed.
10.30am Perth Time we are on the tarmac at Munich, a lot get off but not us....oh for a lovely walk
Morning is breaking over Germany , it's lunch time in Perth.
Right on 7.30am we land in England....how wonderful!

Pam you are so interesting in you comments I find them so entertaining. Did you like Germany. Sarah and myself went a few years ago and I just loved it. Would love to again but living on a pension I find it hard to save.I went when I has some money hahahah. Yes we know what it is like to travel with a baby on a flight our hearts goes out to the mother and also to travel with a sleeper. i must admit i am a sleeper when i fly. ReplyDeleteI can picture it all ....sorry darling but I am laughing particularly with the description of the little tin soldier......been there done that except this little tin soldier wanted to dong the sleeper next to me on the head to move over !!!!
