It started with Laura asking me about some of my 'tea cups"........I've got a story for everyone!The plate above I found on the Isle of Wight about 10 years ago. My brother-in-law, Steve said:
"Watcha wonna an old plate for"[ in his lovely cockney accent] Iris replied: "Cause she likes it"
It is now a wonderful reminder !
2. The little teacup above it, I bought again on the IOW for 50p.......bargain!
3. The cup, saucer and plate belonged to my Aunty Flo who bought a set of them with her War Coupons.
4. The top one is my Great Grandmothers, the handle is so thin I'm fearful of breaking it, so it's kept in
a box. It comes from Queen Marys time [there is no saucer] I'm sure it was her little 'treasure"-

They are so precious, I have a cup & saucer that belonged to my Grandma Edwards, Suzy uses it for her cups of tea whilst visiting us xxx
